Who We Are
Hi! I’m Claire — a writer, ceramicist, and the passionate founder of Clyde Dye, a sustainable clothing re‑dye service based in Los Angeles.
I started Clyde Dye because of a few too many stained onesies in my laundry bin — ones my kid (or I) still couldn’t bear to part with. Instead of tossing them, I re‑dyed them. Then friends asked, then friends of friends, and now... I get to transform clothes for both kids and grown-ups.
At Clyde Dye, we bring small‑batch hand‑dyeing, low‑waste methods, and non‑toxic professional dyes into your home (or mailbox). Whether it's a sun‑faded tee, a mysterious stain, or just a wardrobe that needs a refresh — our mission is to turn what you already have into wearable magic.
Why it matters:
- Sustainability: We save clothes from landfills, one colorful piece at a time.
- Creativity: Every garment is given a new, joyful life in bold, lasting hues.
- Community: This all started at home — and now it’s growing, one re‑dyed layer of connection at a time.
Clyde Dye is for anyone who'd rather color a new memory than create more waste.
